Confirmation
Confirmation is not a sacrament in the Lutheran tradition, but it is an intentional milestone to equip young people to understand and live out their baptismal promises. Our goal is to lay the foundation for a vibrant faith for your youth.
We do this by providing faith forming experiences that equip, empower and unleash your youth, for an ever deepening relationship with Jesus Christ through worship, learning, service, prayer, community and life experiences. We empower them to take ownership of their faith and their relationship with Christ, to use their faith in their everyday lives outside of the church. We also look beyond confirmation to help them see their faith as a journey that is life-long towards a vibrant faith.
We currently start confirmtion in the fall of 6th grade and conclude in the fall of 9th grade. However, your family may choose to have your child start confirmation at an older age as it may be more developmentally appropriate for them.
