Outreach

Empowered by God, the members of the Outreach Ministry will equip the people of St. Mark to witness the Good News of Jesus Christ and serve in our local and global community.

Teams: Social Ministry

This would include, but is not limited to:

• Social Ministry: meets monthly on the 1st Tuesday at 2pm
• Local Outreach: supporting the Food Shelf, gathering school supplies, hosting Scouts, AA, and Centennial Schools early childhood development screening
• Regional Outreach: Quarterly Blood Drive, Hope4Youth, Farmer’s Market (Lexington Lions), and clothing for Vets
• Global Outreach: ELCA World Hunger, Companion Congregation in Tanzania, Partnership with Lutheran congregations and schools in Slovakia
• Time and talents identification
• Ways to serve: watch for opportunites to donate and volunteer

• Regional Outreach (Sponsor-A-Family)
• Global Outreach (ELCA World Hunger, Companion Congregation in Tanzania, Partnership with Lutheran congregations and schools in Slovakia)
• Time and talents identification
